ZSSK awarded a consortium of Škoda Transportation and ŽOS Trnava Slovakia a contract worth around €160m in March 2018 to supply 25 RegioPanter sets for services in the Žilina area.
The order comprises 13 three-car trains and 12 four-car trains.
In March Czech Railways (CD) awarded Škoda a framework contract for up to 50 RegioPanter EMUs with an initial order for 31 sets.
