Stadler, which was named preferred bidder in February, will supply up to 50 Tramlink vehicles for the urban light rail network and up to 30 Tramlink vehicles for the interurban lines to Limbiate and Desio.
The announcement marks the commencement of a period to allow for objections, after which the contract will be signed.
