The trains will be manufactured by Metrowagonmash and delivered between 2019-20. The order comprises 17 two-car DMUs and six three-car DMUs.
The two-car version can be coupled together in a configuration of up to six cars.
Compared with previous models, the maximum speed has been increased from 100 to 120km/h, along with a 15% increase in seating capacity.
The interiors have been redesigned improve aesthetics, fire standards and hygiene. They are also equipped with passenger information systems, CCTV, and HVAC. The driving cars are equipped with toilets and dedicated spaces for passengers with reduced mobility and wheelchairs.
