The order for 100 JNA-T bogie mineral wagons is being financed by wagon leasing company Ermewa.
The first rake of wagons is being used to move limestone from Tunstead quarry in Derbyshire to Wellingborough as part of the East-West Rail project.
The remaining 75 wagons are due to arrive in Britain by mid-October.
