CNR Changchun already has a contract to supply 34 four-car emus to SuperVia, five of which have been delivered to Brazil. The first of these trains (pictured) is now being tested in Rio de Janeiro.
In addition, Supervia plans to order a further 30 emus to strengthen its fleet in the run-up to the 2016 Olympic Games, which Rio de Janeiro will host.
