Four suppliers bid for Latvian EMU contract

LATVIAN national passenger operator Pasažieru Vilciens (PV) announced on September 21 that it has received technical bids from four manufacturers for a contract to supply 32 EMUs.

Suppliers vying for the contract include CAF, Škoda Vagonka, Stadler Poland, and Talgo.

Following evaluation of the technical offer, bidders will be invited to submit a financial offer. The contract is due to be awarded next year and deliveries will begin in 2020.
