CAF Signalling has been selected as a subcontractor by the Salini Kolin joint venture to install signalling on the Çerkezköy - Kapikule line in Turkey.
CAF will install electronic interlocking technology and new Centralised Traffic Control (CTC), which is compatible with ETCS Level 1 on a line with maximum speeds of 200km/h.
The contract is worth more than €15m and is on part of the Halkaki (Istanbul) - Kapikule line, connecting the Turkish capital with the Bulgarian border, which is part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T)
