RATP starts test running on Paris Line 14 metro extension

The new 6.4km underground section will extend Line 14 north from its existing terminal at St Lazare to Mairie de Saint-Ouen and a new depot.

There will be three intermediate stations at Pont-Cardinet, Port de Clichy and Saint-Ouen, all of which provide interchanges with other lines.

A further extension north to St-Denis Pleyel is planned to open in 2024 to interchange with the new lines 15 and 17 of the Grand Paris project. A 14km southern extension from Olympiades to Orly Airport will also be completed in the same year.
