The project includes the construction of 2.8km of conventional tunnel, a 450m-long cut-and-cover tunnel, a 1.3km cutting, several bridges, and a new station.
Implenia is already carrying out initial planning and preliminary works for the project under a SKr 200m contract awarded by Trafikverket in mid-2018.
The project is due to be completed in 2024.
