The contract follows an initial agreement signed in April 2016 for the overhaul of seven locomotives of the same type, which operate in Morocco.
Alstom says it will extend the life of the locomotives by about 15 years.
The locomotives were designed and manufactured at Alstom’s Belfort site and entered service in 1996.
