The contract includes an option to equip five additional locomotives.
Alstom’s centre of excellence in Charleroi, Belgium, will be in charge of design, manufacturing, studies, tests, approval and commissioning of the systems, as well as maintenance in five SNCB workshops over five years after the warranty period. The equipment will be installed by SNCB.
