The contract will include delivery of spare parts and maintenance for 10 years, with an option for another five years.

A tender to lease up to 50 multi-system electric locomotives with an operating speed of 200 km/h and are suitable for operation in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Poland has now closed. ČD is also running a tender for new diesel and hybrid locomotives.
