The first two locomotives were moved by rail from Jihlava to the port of Bratislava, where they were loaded onto a barge for shipment down the River Danube to Bulgaria.

The four-axle diesel-electric locomotives are equipped with a 709kW Caterpillar C18 engine. The locomotives for Isdemir have been designed to operate within a limited loading gauge and on small-radius curves as well as extreme temperatures and dusty environments.

In 2017 CZ Loko supplied two class 744.7 diesel shunters to the Erdemir steelworks, which like Isdemir is part of the Oyak group.
