Built in cooperation with CZ Loko, Czech Republic, the locomotive is powered by a Caterpillar 3512C HD engine, has a maximum speed of 90km/h and weighs 123 tonnes, the same weight as the original ChME3. LDZ says its fuel consumption is halved in the new model.
