The Zlotys 80m ($US 19.9m) contract, signed during the Trako 2019 railway exhibition in Gdansk, Poland, includes maintenance services.
The contract is the third signed by Newag during Trako, which have a total value of more than Zlotys 1bn.
Polish long-distance operator PKP Intercity exercised a Zlotys 183.8m option for 10 additional EU160 Griffin locomotives, while PKP Cargo and Newag signed a contract for the supply of 31 Dragon 2 freight locomotives, the largest ever order for Newag.
