In 2017 Catalonia Government Railways (FGC) awarded Stadler a contract to supply the HGem 2/2 locomotive for the 12.5km metre-gauge line, which runs from an interchange with Barcelona suburban Line R3 at Ribes-Enllaç to the car-free resort town of Núria. The line is electrified at 1.5kV dc and equipped with the Abt rack system.
The locomotive is due to enter service next month.
In October 2018 Stadler won a contract to supply a four-axle electro-diesel rack locomotive to Slovakian national passenger operator ZSSK for the Tatra Electric Railway.
