Each LRV is 32m long, can accommodate more than 200 passengers and includes platform height doors, air-conditioning, onboard audio and visual information systems, and CCTV.

The LRVs will be operated on Le Havre's new 13km Y-shaped light rail network which was devised to maximise the effectiveness of the system with 90,000 of the city's residents estimated to be within a five minute walk of one of the line's 23 stations. The route will link Caucriauville Pré Fleuri in the east of the city with Porte Oceáne in the southwest and Grand Hameau in the northwest, and includes a 600m tunnel under the city centre.

The line is set to open in 2014 at a cost of Euros 314.6 million. Testing of the LRVs will commence in mid-2012.
