The 1524mm-gauge trains will be almost identical to the fleet of 32
class Sm5 four-car trains currently being supplied to Junakalusto for
Helsinki suburban services. Like the Finnish trains, the Flirts for BC
will be manufactured at Stadler's Bussnang site in Switzerland and will
feature the same wider bodyshell. Deliveries will commence in December
and will continue until mid-2012.
