Overall ridership grew by 1.2% to 9.2 million, buoyed by a 6% increase
in passenger numbers on the London - Brussels route. The number of
passengers using London - Paris services grew by just 1%. The sale of
leisure tickets rose by 15.6% and Eurostar says the decline in the
business market bottomed-out in the second half of the year despite the
challenging economic conditions. Revenues rose by 1.7% year-on-year to £675.5 million.
