Goldschmidt Thermit says the acquisition of PLR allows it to offer customers a one-stop shop for measurement and inspection technology. The company adds that the ability to combine digital measurement with inspection data used to determine and localise rail defects will give Goldschmidt Thermit new momentum in the area of predictive maintenance.
