Users of the IRJ website will still be able to access up to eight news stories per calendar month free of charge. After viewing four stories, users will be invited to register and only after the eighth story will they be asked to take out a subscription.

“Usage of the IRJ website has grown rapidly during the last few years and is currently averaging in excess of 210,000 users per month,” says IRJ’s publisher, Jonathan Chalon. “This reflects the high-quality of the content on the website and the number of stories being posted each day. In common with an increasing number of publishers, we now need to start charging our frequent users for full access to the website in order to maintain the quality of our news service and to develop it further.”
