With capacity for 533 passengers, each train will consist of eight cars - two first class cars, a buffet car and five second class cars. The trains will operate at 320km/h at 25kV for the first 200km on the under-construction high-speed route between Tangiers and Kenitra, and at 160km/h and 220km/on existing 3kV conventional lines between Kenitra and Casablanca.

Once introduced, current Tangiers - Casablanca journey times of 4h45min will be cut to just 2h10min. The service is projected to serve up to 10 million passengers per year, up from 4 million passengers at present.
