The two short-span bridges, which are 12m and 24m long, use recycled
structural composite (RSC) a thermoplastic product composed of recycled
domestic and industrial plastic. RSC is manufactured by Axion
International, United States, and patented by Rutgers University in New
Jersey.

Load trials have recently been completed on the two bridges, which can
support locomotives weighing up to 118 tonnes. Regular operation will
begin over the bridges next month.
