The two sections have a combined length of 11km with 11 stations. The
5.7km, five-station stage 3 between Bartley and Marymount was the first
phase of the line to be completed, and opened in May 2009. Around
200,000 passengers per day are expected to use stages 1-3.

Stage 4 will extend the line west to Kent Ridge, while stage 5 will
take the line south to Labrador Park before terminating at an
interchange with the North East Line at Harbour Front. When completed,
the Circle Line will be 33km long with 29 stations.
