UGL will supply seven C44ACi locomotives to a leading resources company in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. The deal includes a five-year maintenance contract.

In addition, Rio Tinto has selected UGL to supply 13 new GE Evolution locomotives to support its Pilbara iron ore operations in Western Australia. This latest order takes the number of UGL and GE locomotives at Rio Tinto's Karratha operations to over 150.
