The contracts include the Duhai - Modi Nagar and Modi Nagar - Shatabdi Nagar sections of the RRTS corridor. Heavy Civil Infrastructure will be responsible for constructing 32km of viaduct and seven elevated stations.

The Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project aims to offer 160km/h services between New Delhi and Tier-2 cities in adjoining states.

“We are delighted to have been entrusted with responsibility to develop this unique project, a first-of-its-kind for India," says Mr S V Desai, senior vice president and head - Heavy Civil Infrastructure.
