The technical, operational and economic assessment will examine two basic route variants for the line (one via Havlíčkuv Brod and the other via Benešov). The study will also consider the costs and benefits of building a line with a design speed of 250, 300 and 350km/h.

The aim of the 29-month study is to reduce the total number of alignment options to six.

The completed study will be submitted to SŽDC by September 2020.
