The 22km Vera - Almanzora section will be single track with an 8.5m-wide formation, while the remaining 3.7km will be double track with a 14m-wide formation.
The project also involves building 10 viaducts, the longest measuring 744m, as well as a pedestrian overpass and a number of under and overpasses along the route.
