AssetsCo will be responsible for designing, building, financing and maintaining the rolling stock, as well as designing, building, financing, operating and maintaining all rail assets including track, power supply, signalling and telecommunications. It will also coordinate network capacity for operation and maintenance purposes.

The briefing will be open to qualified entities and will enable MyHSR and LTA to explain key features of the project, as well as indicative AssetsCo tender parameters and technical specifications. “It will also provide an opportunity for dialogue between MyHSR, LTA and the industry,” the two partners say.

The 350km Kuala Lumpur - Singapore line will serve eight stations, cutting travel times between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to 1h 30min. The line will be completed by the end of 2026.
