The SpeedInnov joint venture is being backed by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy together with the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research, and the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Digital as part of the government's Future Investment Programme (PIA).
The aim of the project is to develop a train capable of seating up to 750 passengers while cutting maintenance costs and reducing energy consumption by 35%.
