Operating over the Rhine-Rhône high-speed line, the service runs via Dijon, Besançon and Belfort, linking the French capital with the Black Forest in 3h 40min.
TGVs already operate from Paris to Saabrücken, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich, as well as from Frankfurt to Marseille via Strasburg and Lyon.
