Following delivery, the vehicle will go on public display at Nieuwegein depot in Utrecht on January 18.
The 33m-long bidirectional LRVs have a maximum speed of 70km/h and accommodate up to 216 passengers.
Due to open in mid-2018, the 7.5km Uithof line will connect Utrecht Central station with the Uithof universary campus on the eastern side of the city.
