The €225m contract encompasses the Angers' sole operational tram line, 31 bus routes, a transport-on-demand service, transport for people with reduced mobility, and a bike-share scheme.
The Irigo network, which serves an area with a population of 290,000 inhabitants, is currently operated by Keolis.
The 12km tram Line A opened in and runs for 12km from Avrillé to Roseraie serving 25 stations. A second line is under construction and due to open in 2022.
