There will be an extra train on Fridays, with slightly fewer trains at weekends.

Leo Express launched a trial service on November 13 2012 using a fleet of five Stadler Flirt emus. It originally planned to introduce the full service on December 9, but had to delay this due to teething problems with the trains.

"I'm glad that our service is now starting in full," says Mr Leos Novotny, founder and CEO of LEO Express. "We have worked on fine-tuning our services in response to complaints from passengers so they are further improved."

Leo Express is the second private operator on the route between Prague and Ostrava after RegioJet. Both operators compete with Czech Railways (CD).
