According to the notification, Leo Express plans to operate four services a day via Ostrava, Katowice, Warsaw and Siedlce from December 2019 using its existing fleet of Stadler Flirt EMUs.

According to the provisional timetable published on the UTK website, the eastbound services would effectively be an extension of the existing 08.09, 10.09, 12.09 and 16.09 Prague - Bohumín/Karviná services. Trains would depart from Terespol at 17.30, 19.30, 21.30 and 01.30.

Leo Express will offer a journey time of 7h 24min for the Prague - Warsaw leg and 9h 20min for the full 964km trip from the Czech capital to Terespol.

The launch of the proposed service is subject to an economic equilibrium test for the Polish section of the route.

Leo Express began operating into Poland in July 2018 with the launch of its weekend Prague - Krakow services.
