Total passenger-km during March reached 10.02 million, a 4.6% increase compared with the corresponding period in 2013. A total of 80,167 passenger trains used the Trafikverket network last month, with passengers travelling an average distance of 125km.
Freight traffic also recovered slightly, climbing 1.3% year-on-year to reach 3.31 million train-km.
