The order will comprise 63 vehicles for the Purple Line and 87 cars for the Green Line.
Currently each three-car train is formed of two motorised driving cars and an intermediate trailer. In future each six-car train will be formed of two motorised driving cars, two motorised intermediate cars, and two unpowered intermediate cars.
The order is being funded through a loan from the French Development Agency (AFD).
