Ansaldo STS has a $US 1bn share in the contract, which covers a 12-year period including the mobilisation period.

Flow will provide a range of operation and maintenance services for Lines 3, 4, 5 & 6, which have a total length of 113km and 50 stations including two main stations, five interchange stations as well as three depots and three operation control centres.

Services include metro operation, security, passenger assistance, facility management, building maintenance and the complete transit system, including trains, signalling, telecommunication, power supply and passenger information.

Ansaldo STS has been present in Saudi Arabia for more than 15 years, including as part of the ANM consortium is supplying the metro system for line 3 (Orange Line) which is the longest line of Riyadh Metro’s network.
