L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&T), has awarded Keolis a three-year extension for the operation and maintenance of the 69km automated metro system.
The new contract begins on November 29 2022 and there is an option for a possible three-year extension.
Keolis has been working with L&T since 2012 and commercial operation of the metro commenced in 2017.
The 69km-long network consists of three lines and 57 stations, which is used by 250,000 passengers every day.
