Tashkent Metro awarded the Transmashholding subsidiary a contract to supply five four-car type 81-765.5/766.5/767.5 trains in October 2018 in a deal which also included spare parts and maintenance staff training.

Each set is formed of two motor driving cars, one powered intermediate car and one intermediate trailer.

The trains feature asynchronous traction, 1400mm-wide doors, a warning light system for opening and closing doors, air conditioning and an air disinfection system.

Both of the driving cars are accessible for passengers with reduced mobility.
