The project has been implemented as public-private partnership by the government and Doosan Engineering & Construction Consortium. Hyundai Rotem has supplied a fleet of 12 six-car trains, while Thales has installed its SelTrac moving-block communications-base train control (CBTC) system. This allows trains to operate entirely automatically without drivers at up to 90km/h underground.
