The 51km Airport MRT links Taipei Main Station with Huanbei via the airport and serves 15 elevated and six underground stations.
The line is served by stopping and express services, the latter offering a 35-minute journey time with intermediate stops at New Taipei Industrial Park and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Both stopping and express services run at 15-minute intervals and operate at a maximum speed of 100km/h.
Trial operation began on February 2 and limited public services commenced on February 16.
