The Line 4's southern section will be 19.4km long, with 14 underground stations. The tender calls for 114 cars to be operated as 19 six-car trains, with four motored cars and two trailer cars. The trains will eventually be extended to eight cars, with the addition of two motored cars.

The tender also calls for 132 cars for the new 21.22km, 21-station Line 10 phase 1. The 22 six-car trains, which will operate with four powered cars and two trailer cars, are scheduled to come into operation on June 30 2021 with the opening of phase 1.

The deadline for submitting bids for both tenders is May 2.
