Services on the Yuan 17.97bn ($US 2.5bn) line, which is currently operating with 26 stations but is due to be extended with an extra station at each end, will run between 06.00 and 23.40 daily, with a headway of six minutes during peak hours and seven to eight minutes off-peak.
Passengers are able to interchange with lines 1, 2, 3, 6, and 9 (Jinbin light rail), and the line has also been incorporated into the network’s fare system.
The line is equipped with 1.5kV dc overhead electrification and services are operated by a fleet of six-car Type B metro trains.
