The CEF has more than €7.6bn to fund transport projects and the outcome of the call for submission will be published in summer 2016. Of the total funding, €6.47bn is allocated to states eligible for Cohesion Funds and the remainder for general projects.
Bids close for CEF funding
BIDS for Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) funding closed on February 16, with up to €200m available for European Rail Traffic Management (ERTMS) projects, €50m for rail interoperability and a potential share of other funds not dedicated to any specific mode.
