Etihad Rail will conduct technical studies and present its findings in architectural reports and blueprints to responsible government officials in Dubai. the railway will also report any modifications to the railway alignment or surrounding areas, particularly on operational issues, and will commit to Dubai's health and safety standards and to guarantee maximum operational efficiency. In addition, RTA will assign representatives to coordinate issuing Non-Objection Certificaissue or any road works required by Etihad Rail.

The agreement was signed by HE Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi, chairman of Etihad Rail and H.E. Mattar Al Tayer, chairman of the board and executive director of RTA.

"In the past five years, Etihad Rail has managed to lay well established foundations for its operations," Alsowaidi says. "Strengthening communication channels with other government entities will guarantee the efficient development of this important project, which will transform the transport industry across the UAE and drive our nation's future growth."
