Malaysia issues pre-qualification notice for locomotives and wagons

The pre-qualification process will identify companies for competitive tenders which are due to be announced at a later date.

The locomotives and BCF wagons must be manufactured or assembled in Malaysia, with the locomotives consisting of 40% local content and the wagons consisting of 50% local content.

All companies submitting for the qualification process must be based in Malaysia.

The prequalification documents must be submitted before June 28.
