The 19km will start at an interchange with the Cavite extension of Line LRT 1 at Niyog in the southern district of Bacoor, following the Aguinaldo Highway south through Imus to Governor's Drive in Dasmariñas, the largest city in Cavite province. The line will have seven stations and will be elevated for its entire length.
Construction of the $US 1.45bn line is expected to take around five years and the concessionaire will operate the route for 25 years.
