ALL says the 385-hectare Rondonópolis Intermodal Complex (CIR) is the largest terminal of its type in Brazil. The site is linked to ALL's 260km Rondonópolis – Alto Araguaia line, which was completed last year, giving this major grain-producing region direct rail access to the port of Santos near São Paulo. ALL has invested Reais 880 million in this project, including the cost of the terminal.

The facility is capable of loading 120-wagon trains in just three-and-a-half hours.

More than 20 logistics companies are expected to begin using CIR over the next five years.
