The “Mon Chauffeur” service is accessible through the app or website and became active at 26 stations across France on May 15. This will be extended throughout 2019 with SNCF passengers able to book ahead of their journey or when using the train’s onboard Wi-Fi service.

Mon Chauffeur harnesses Karhoo’s real-time cost comparison platform while tapping into the company’s network of 150 fleets in France. The aim is to offer passengers a selection of the best offers at the best price for their first or last mile journey. The system is able to guarantee a reservation with drivers waiting for passengers at a designated meeting point. The system is also able to adapt bookings to schedule changes if required.

Karhoo says the number of journeys is expected to grow to a few thousand per day in 2019 as a result of the partnership.
